Paysafecash brings cash online: now also to Latvia.

In April 2020 Latvia joined the group of 26 countries offering Paysafecash as a convenient online payment method for cash-based buyers.

This automatically drives financial inclusion of all the citizens among 1.8 million Latvians who do not have a bank account, credit card or simply do not want to disclose their financial data online. At the same time 80%1 of them are regular internet users.

And the interest of Latvians in eCommerce is steadily growing with an average annual rate of 6.1%. The current user penetration of 65.8% is predicted to increase to 68.5% by 20242.

Paysafecash reaches this Baltic State after nine years of a successful use of another Paysafe product: paysafecard. The already well-established prepaid solution is accessible in over 250 payment acceptance points in Latvia, especially in the leading retail franchise Narvesen.

Everyone has access to cash. Paysafecash has now digitised it for everyone – Latvians included!
